It’s no shock that Blizzard will implement some really cool looking skins ranging from hilarious to downright impressive for Heroes of the Storm. From what they showed us at Blizzcon they are willing to breach all realms of reality and meld them all together in The Nexus.

This allows Blizzard to create some fun stuff that melds universes such as; Diablo as a murloc from the Warcraft universe.

Or have skins that are within the same realm but have Heroes playing for different faction sides such as Tassadar in a mech suit for the Terran in Starcraft II

And breaching all the fourth walls with the completely redonkulous stuff such as Roller Girl Nova, Diablo as a Kaiju (godzilla) and 80s glam rock ETC.

With Blizzard’s keen knack for pop culture references, their creativity for making skins is limitless.

Blizzard has a lot of options at their disposal with so much art and lore already out there. They have said that we could possibly see heroes from classics such as The Lost Vikings, but what do you think those skins will be like?

Eric “the swift” as a demon? Baleog with a phase blade?

It’s possible for the Nexus to create unlimited mashups and has the potential to truly be something great. As for how skins will be acquired, that’s for another article and hopefully when we have more information that won’t be just speculation.
