After 8 long months, the Technical Alpha is finally coming to an end. During Blizzcon, Blizzard announced that Closed Beta will start on Tuesday January 13. As the game moves into the beta phase, expect a lot more of invites to be sent out. If you are still waiting on your chance to enter the Nexus, this might be your best shot yet.

We’ve very much enjoyed sharing the Technical Alpha with you, and your feedback over the past eight months has helped us make Heroes even more epic. Thank you, as always, to everyone who has shared their thoughts on the game with us thus far. We can’t wait to hear more from all of you as we move toward Closed Beta testing in January.

Speaking of Closed Beta, we’re still sending out new waves of testing invites regularly. Make sure to give yourself the best chance at receiving an invitation by opting in to Heroes of the Storm testing on your Battle.net Account Management’s Beta Profile Settings page. Additionally, we recently unleashed two exciting new opportunities to join us in the Nexus through our Bring Your Friends to the Brawl Facebook App, and you can learn more about them here.
