To celebrate the Lunar Festival, Heroes of the Storm is having a 25% XP Boost week starting 12:01 AM PST on February 18. This boost will of course be into any other additional boosts such as stimpacks or playing with friends. The XP boost will end at 11:59 PM PST on February 24.

This is a great way to get some of those heroes up to level 4 so they are no longer talent gated (seriously Blizzard… stop) or if you want to make a push at getting a hero to level 10 to unlock their master skin. I personally love using this time to get my characters past level 4 as all it normally takes (with a stimpack and playing with a friend) is just one game to jump up to level 4. Way better than the 2-3 game average it currently takes at times.

The Lunar Festival is upon us, and we’re celebrating with free bonus XP! Players who log in to the Americas region between the hours of 12:01 AM PST on February 18 and 11:59 PM PST on February 24 will receive a 25% XP boost. The boost is only available while logged in to the game, but it will apply to all Heroes. As a reminder, this special occasion bonus will indeed stack additively with Stimpacks.

What’s more, players who log in and play 10 games of Heroes of the Storm between January 27 and the morning of March 3, 2015 will also receive a special new Lunar Festival portrait! Matches played in any mode except for Custom Games will count towards unlocking this epic portrait, so make sure to jump into the Nexus for a brawl before the event comes to an end.
