Heroes of the Storm Starter Pack

Now that we have an official release date of June 2nd, 2015, Blizzard has announced a Starter Pack to help get you started if you weren’t able to get into the Beta, or to supplement what you’ve already earned along the way.
The Starter Pack is available from the in-game store and includes five heroes (Zagara, Sonya, Li-Li, Jaina, and Zeratul). This gives you one Warrior, Support, and Specialist hero, along with two Assassin Heroes. For new players this can be a great way to try out each role and find out which fits you best. It also ensures that the buyers of this pack have at least one of each type of hero available for the “Complete 3 games as a _______ character” dailies to earn gold.
Also included in the pack is the Ronin Zeratul skin, and the Golden Tiger mount.
It also seems that Blizzard has heard the concerns of the community during the Beta with regard to combo pack sales. During the Beta if you purchased a pack which included a hero, skin, or mount you had purchased previously you paid full price and that was that. There was not a system in place to compensate for the prior purchases to bring down the cost of the new purchase.
With this pack, each of the items included will be provided as a separate code which can be used on your account or provided to a friend/family member who does not have that particular item. With codes you can purchase the pack and hold onto the codes you don’t use for later trade with a friend when a pack comes up with something you may want.
While this may not be the solution many people when dealing with items players already have, it does show that Blizzard at least hears the concerns and are looking for a solution.
This pack is not required to play Heroes of the Storm and it does not include Beta access, but it will allow you to jump right into the fray when the game becomes publicly available.

Heroes of the Storm will be available to play for free by anyone with a Battle.net account. As you play, you’ll keep earning gold that you can use to buy any hero in the game. The Starter Pack is just a great way to start your collection of Heroes, skins, and mounts. Other discounted bundles are available through the game client, so be on the lookout for other bargains.
