CM Cloaken has offered up this gameplay spotlight that explains how The Butcher is going to play once Eternal Conflict opens up.

All told, it feels like the Butcher is going to be a primary kill target in any team fights that take place, simply because his damage output is going to be balanced around having at least some stacks of Fresh Meat. If you can repeatedly down the Butcher, then you’re effectively nerfing the output of the opposing team, even as the game progresses.

That being said, a Butcher in an expert’s hands that’s also supported by a team purpose-built around keeping him alive is going to be a juggernaut, and that could make him exceptionally dangerous on the competitive scene.

Much like Leoric, it feels like the Butcher is going to be something of a gamechanger to the Heroes meta. Tell us what you think about him in the comments.
