Cloud9 defeated Tempo Storm in an epic five game series to claim the title of Americas Champion, as well as $40,000 in prize money.

The match was a roller coaster.  Cloud9 won the first two game in this best of five match, only to see Tempo Storm take the next two games to tie it up.  The match was decided on Blackheart’s Bay, and Cloud9 was in control the entire game.

Congrats to both team for a well played series, and they will both be moving on to the Heroes of the Storm World Championships at Blizzcon later this year.
