Li-Ming Teleports Into The Nexus Tomorrow

A Blizzard tweet made official today what everyone was already expecting. Li-Ming will officially be released tomorrow, February 2nd. Consider yourself warned!

Prepare yourself for all kinds of arcane mayhem. If you are going to play Li-Ming, expect longer than normal wait times. If you are going to play against Li-Ming, expect to see a lot of purple stuff flying your way. If you are going to play with a Li-Ming, expect to see a lot of jaw dropping plays (both good and bad).

I can’t remember the last Hero who came into the game with this much hype surrounding them. The pro players rave about her potential to outplay other Heroes. The casual players love how fun her kit is. There is no doubt that she is a very strong Hero, but she also requires a high degree of skill to play well. Good Li-Ming players will have the potential to dominate a game, but bad ones are going to spend a lot of time waiting to respawn. I expect her to quickly become a top tier Hero, but it won’t be as simple as pick Li-Ming and win.

In addition to a new Hero, the patch that is currently testing on the PTR should also go live tomorrow. This is a major patch, and it includes substantial changes to Rehgar and Nova among other things. If you haven’t seen the patch notes, you can get a sneak peak at what is coming by clicking here.
