While it was a stretch, there was some speculation that Xul the Necromancer might be released today. Blizzard but those rumors to rest early with the following tweet:

This will put Xul’s release four weeks after Li-Ming, so Blizzard is once again right on track with their three to four week goal for new Heroes.

Now that we know exactly when we can expect him, it is time to officially get hyped for Xul.

To the best of my knowledge, this article contains the first complete look at Xul’s talents and abilities. As a Specialist, it is no surprise to see the potential for lane pushing or sustained damage builds, but I am more excited about the prospect of a debuff oriented build. If this is viable it could provide an interesting new dynamic to the game.
