Special Events Grant 50% Bonus XP and Unlock All Heroes

Blizzard is celebrating Heroes of the Dorm, and all of the competing teams, with two major bonus events.
Apparently Blizzard knows that watching Heroes of the Storm makes you want to play Heroes of the Storm, because the first event is for 50% Bonus XP . This event will run from 10:00 a.m. April 8th until the same time on April 18th. That is ten days of 50% more experience! As usual, this bonus stacks with other experience bonus mechanics such as Stimpacks and the Play with Friend bonus.
As cool as this first bonus is, it is the second bonus that will really have people talking.
Starting at the same time, 10:00 a.m. April 8th, all Heroes will be unlocked and can be played for free. You read that right, you will have access to all fifty Heroes in the game, regardless of whether you own them or not. This is a great way to have some fun and try out Heroes that you have never played before. It is also a great way to earn gold if you haven’t reached level 5 with certain Heroes, which will be even easier now thanks to the bonus experience. This event ends on April 11th at 10:00 a.m. so be sure to set aside some time this weekend to play some Heroes and to watch Heroes of the Dorm.

It’s all come down to the final four teams, who are right now hard at work preparing for this weekend’s grand finale of Heroes of the Dorm 2016 in Seattle. To help celebrate their victories, and the incredible efforts of every team competing in this tournament, we are making every Hero available to play completely free and granting everyone 50% bonus XP!

April 8, 10:00 a.m. PDT (All Regions) – April 18, 10:00 a.m. PDT (All Regions)
Don’t forget to make the most of the event by inviting a friend and you’ll both gain a 50% friend bonus on top of the event XP for every game played in a party together!
Now is the time to hop in and find a new favorite Hero, check out some new team compositions with some friends, and celebrate Heroes of the Dorm by enjoying bonus XP!
