Machines of War: New Battlegrounds

by - 8 years ago

The Machines of War event will feature two new Battlegrounds. Both of these maps are Starcraft themed and appear to do a great job of capturing the unique look and feel of that universe

The first is a two lane map called Braxis Hold. The Objective of this map involves fighting to control beacons, which will allow teams to unleash a holding cell filled with zerg upon their enemies.

The second map is Warhead Junction. In this three lane map, teams vie for control over devastating nuclear armaments. Obtaining these weapons will grant players a new ability which will allow them to channel their inner Ghost and Call Down The Thunder on their enemies. Kaboom!

Both of these maps feature entirely new Starcraft themed artwork including Minions, Mercenaries, and Structures. Get a full look at what to expect from these new Battlegrounds in this In Development video:

The Machines of War event is scheduled to begin on September 13th. Consider yourself warned soldier!
