Taz’Dingo! is Troll for “Stand and Fight”

by - 7 years ago

Taaaaz’Dingo! A battle cry that strikes fear into enemies and teammates alike. Used properly, this mighty exclamation heralds a potential mega kill. Used improperly, it is the opening note in a Zul’jin funeral dirge.

What determines which type of Taz’Dingo you get? Commitment and timing.

Here is what the great Troll warrior Ale’jin had to say about how to Taz’Dingo. “Proper Taz’Dingo requires courage. To truly be one with Taz’Dingo you must embrace death. If you wish to live you must be willing to die. It is only thru conquering your fear of death that you can cause your enemies to fear theirs. To show fear in the face of Taz’Dingo is to invite death. Once Taz’Dingo has been declared you must stand your ground and bravely strike down your enemies. Running away after proclaiming Taz’Dingo will not only earn the scorn of your Troll ancestors, but it will also ensure that you will soon be on your way to join them.”

The mighty Vol’Beard had these words of wisdom on when to Taz’Dingo. “Taz’Dingo is most effective when your opponents fear you. To be feared, you must appear strong and threatening. Taz’Dingo is best when it causes your enemies to flee in the face of your power. Do not provide your enemies false hope by waiting to use Taz’Dingo until you appear weak and vulnerable. While there is much honor in trading your life in exchange for multiple enemies, there is even more glory in surviving to dance upon the bones of the vanquished.”

Of course I am paraphrasing these great masters, as the original quotes were much too difficult to understand with all the “you be” and “mon” nonsense, but the point of the lessons are clear.

Taz’Dingo is not an escape tool. Your best chance for survival is to kill all of your enemies, not to turn and run away. The main benefit of Taz’Dingo is the increased damage, and that is completely wasted if you are not attacking your enemies.

When to use Taz’Dingo is also important because you want to be low enough on health to benefit from the bonus damage, but no so low that you are guaranteed to die as soon as Taz’Dingo ends. Using Taz’Dingo when you still have a decent amount of health remaining will force your enemies to either run or using valuable cooldowns on you, either of which will increase your chances of living after Taz’Dingo.

Taz’Dingo can be devastating when used well, but it is nothing more than a Heroic cooldown and a respawn timer when used poorly so don’t be that Troll.
