With the Starcraft 20th anniversary celebration in full swing, it is no surprise that the next Hero to enter the Nexus is coming from the Starcraft universe.

The suspense over who this Starcraft Hero would be was put to rest earlier today thanks to the following tweet:

Of all of the potential names that are thrown around for requested Heroes from the Starcraft universe, I think Fenix is the one I hear the most. There wasn’t much doubt that we would eventually get Fenix as a Hero. The real question was, which version of Fenix would we get. The video seems to answer that question.

While there isn’t much in the way of details at this point, there is a good chance that Fenix will be a Warrior. According to the Starcraft Wiki article I mentioned earlier, Blizzard artist Phil Gonzales has said that Fenix was their first choice for a Starcraft Warrior but they couldn’t figure out a way to incorporate his resurrection in a dragoon without overlapping with other characters.
